About WASAReC

Who We Are

WASAReC is a Zambian organisation registered with the Zambia NGO Registrar under the NGO Act 16 of 2019. We work at the intersection of water, sanitation, hygiene, and community development. We exist to address persistent inequalities in access to safe and sustainable WASH services, particularly in underserved peri-urban and rural communities.

We believe that lasting change happens when communities are not just recipients of services, but active drivers of solutions. Our work focuses on strengthening systems, building local capacity, and supporting evidence-informed decision-making that improves service delivery and resilience over time.

We implement & strengthen water, sanitation, and hygiene systems through practical, community-centred, and evidence-based approaches.
